Bubbly Bridal Shower

Fall is in the air, and wedding celebrations are in full swing! Is it just me or is 2020 the “Year Of The Wedding!?” I already have a handful of near and dear family and friends getting married next year (Including my baby sister!), and I CANNOT wait. The months leading up to a wedding are such a special time in a couples’ lives. The love around the event is overwhelming. The way the future bride and groom look at each other, and the love they are shown from their closest friends is just so joyous . It’s such a sweet time, and I love being apart of it.

This past weekend I co-hosted a lovely bridal shower for a very dear friend of mine, Emily. Her childhood friend (and my new friend) Liz was my co-host and we couldn’t have been more in sync with our vision for the shower. It really makes the planning process seamless when you have twin cooks in the kitchen! *And on a side note, Liz is also a blogger who has incredible style so you should check her out here!

Everything came together so beautifully (and the weather was perfect!), and we couldn’t have been happier about how it turned out. But the best part was seeing how happy the bride to be was! She was beaming from start to finish, as you will see below.

We had 18 guests and really wanted them all seated at a king table! Swift + Company had a wonderful selection of rentals to make this happen. However, we wanted a drape like table runner instead of a traditional one and actually found them on amazon. They were super reasonable and really added some elegance. We also added a variety of colored candlestick holders and gold mercury votives from our personal collection to the center of a table. Your candle holders don’t all need to be exactly the same (in fact I like having a few different ones) just make sure they coordinate with your colors. And did you know hobby lobby has every color of candlesticks you can think of? We chose pink of course!

We wanted to keep catering simple and easy. Central Market does a wonderful job with perfect party food platters, and they deliver. You can’t beat that! And of course, no bridal shower is complete without some bubbly, and we had plenty to go around. We hired a bartender ( which really makes such a difference when you are hosting) from Party Palace Co. and he kept the bubbly bar flowing!

Big Ass Balloons really stole the show with their gorgeous garland and oversized “bride to be” balloon. It was the perfect place for pictures and gifts!

For sweets, we had a white buttercream cake with raspberry filing from Memorial Bakery and the most adorable bridal cookies I have ever seen from Wild Heart Baking Co. Seriously, I didn’t want anyone to eat them, they were that cute!

It was gorgeous all around! The set up, the guests and THE BRIDE.

There were so many vendors and details that were apart of this amazing day that I have compiled them below. Along with some more pictures from the event. ENJOY!
